Pretty ridiculous that we are footing the bill for 720 MILLION dollars of overdue fees. And people think forcing the military to downsize and check their books is a bad thing… Budget cuts can be easily made without slashing arts and music funding and other progressive programs and looking at stupid, excessive and lazy accounting.

This is basically what our country has sadly boiled down to. Such a ridiculous disagreement that is ultimately destroying our economy and country. We now have downgraded to AA+ rating and the stock markets are waaay down. Perfect. Oh and the rich still get crazy tax cuts.

An amazing article talking about how the US government and the EU along with some major US companies lobbied in Haiti and got the minimum wage lowered for the poorest country in this hemisphere. Absurd.
