(via The Problem with Processed Storytelling : The New Yorker)
“The kind of recipe for success that a soft-drink company might guard with fierce vigilance, a movie company puts online for all to see. Emma Coats, a former storyboard artist at Pixar, sent out a list of the company’s “22 Rules of Storytelling.” I confess, I thought there was just one—“whatever works”—though it’s no surprise to learn that Pixar, a Disney subsidiary, has codified its process to a programmatic uniformity.”
A rather good rebuttal to the “Pixar Rules” that were posted a little bit ago. Good real about storytelling and writing.

Just finished up this pair of shoes for my buddy Mike, its been about a year since i’ve used acrylic for anything, let alone shoes, so it was a challenge to get the hang of it after using watercolor for awhile but in the end they actually turned out better than expected! If you’re interested in a pair of custom shoes feel free to email me at taitcomics@gmail.com!
