“The kind of recipe for success that a soft-drink company might guard with fierce vigilance, a movie company puts online for all to see. Emma Coats, a former storyboard artist at Pixar, sent out a list of the company’s “22 Rules of Storytelling.” I confess, I thought there was just one—“whatever works”—though it’s no surprise to learn that Pixar, a Disney subsidiary, has codified its process to a programmatic uniformity.”
A rather good rebuttal to the “Pixar Rules” that were posted a little bit ago. Good real about storytelling and writing.
Snap! New album! I’m pumped
Kings County Cornucopia (Micro-Projection Mapping Installation)
This is a project I helped out with. Really cool projection mapping stuff for Brooklyn Brewery at SXSW.
BLACKMEAL - MARVEL
This would definitely make a sweet intro to Marvel films. Fantastic animation.
Just finished up this pair of shoes for my buddy Mike, its been about a year since i’ve used acrylic for anything, let alone shoes, so it was a challenge to get the hang of it after using watercolor for awhile but in the end they actually turned out better than expected! If you’re interested in a pair of custom shoes feel free to email me at email@example.com!
Killin it as always Tait.
Bill Plympton’s noir gag for the Simpsons. Great styling as always.
New Disney animation in the Steamboat Willie style. Very cool. With 18 more of these to come!
